The Gift of Giving

What better time to give out food and smiles than the holiday season! A couple of best friends have this this tradition of paying it forward by feeding children. This thanksgiving program fed almost a hundred children thanks to the kindhearted people who organized and donated. We asked Kimberly Damlani why:

There is joy in giving.  When I launched the #20PayItForwardPH movement, the goal was to allow friends & volunteers to pool their resources to help others.  For as low as 20 pesos, you can start giving and paying it forward.❤

I have been doing this on my own for quite sometime. But alone, you can only accomplish so much. Together, you can do so much more. 

There’s Chinese saying that goes: “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.”

In a nutshell, joyful giving is living a life with purpose and meaning. We give because doing so makes us happy.

Along with Kim, this program is co-organized by Abigail, Lemuel, Albert. This is was not sponsored by Jollibee SM Cebu but the manager was kind enough to lend the venue for free.
