A Day of Magic and Mayhem at MainQuest Cebu DLC: Magik Konclave

On June 8, 2025, White Heart Lane transformed into the enchanted halls of "The Erudite Academy" as MainQuest Cebu brought to life another one of its DLCs; "MainQuest: Magik Konclave". This live-action role-playing event immersed attendees in a full magic school experience, complete with storytelling, hands-on quests, and whimsical chaos from start to finish.

Attendees arrived not as spectators but as students of the Magik Konclave. They were handed clearance scrolls, instructed to attend classes, and sent off to explore a world filled with secrets, professors, and unexpected quests. The grounds buzzed with activity as participants sought signatures from professors, but those didn’t come easy. Some required riddles, others demanded tasks, and a few offered cryptic choices that came with curious consequences.

Three interactive workshops became the main classrooms of the day: tarot reading, wand crafting, and boffer making. Whether it was crafting your own magical wand or learning to interpret the cards, each station pulled attendees deeper into the world.

Artists and creators set up booths filled with handmade treasures such as enchanted jewelry, potion bottles, scrolls, and artworks. Even the food vendors joined in, offering delicious meals paired with quirky mini-quests. 

For the more daring, an archery range was available to test your aim. Scattered throughout the venue were small games with fun prizes, providing short but memorable detours from your main quest.

The weather brought a mix of sun and heat in short bursts, followed by longer spells of rain. But in the spirit of the Konclave, the rain became more than just an obstacle. As puddles formed and clothes became soaked, it felt as if the land itself was preparing for something greater.

That moment came as the evening closed with a cleansing ritual. Attendees gathered around a central circle, surrounded by moonlight and soft chanting. The rain, which had persisted throughout the day, suddenly felt like part of the spell. It washed away the weight of the quests, the tasks, and even the outside world. It felt as though the skies had joined in, helping cleanse not only the players but the space itself.

MainQuest Cebu: Magik Konclave was more than just a fantasy-themed event. It was a shared story written in wand shavings, tarot cards, muddy boots, and rain-soaked laughter. And for those who were there, the magic still lingers.
