On April 12, 2025, fans of Love and Deep Space gathered at CUP Daily in City Times Square, Mandaue City for Crimson Devotion — a birthday celebration for one of the most loved and mysterious characters in the game, Sylus. The event was a cup-sleeve gathering that brought together fans, artists, and cosplayers in a themed afternoon dedicated to everyone's favorite space vampire.
Attendees came dressed to impress, following a striking theme of black, white, or red outfits. Whether in cosplay of other characters or in sleek, dark palettes with sharp silhouettes, the crowd definitely brought their A-game. The highlight in the cosplay scene was Dani Schoenheit, the event’s special guest and the only Sylus cosplayer for the day. Her portrayal of the character pulled fans in for photo ops and interactions that made the day extra memorable.
Crimson Devotion wasn’t just a visual treat — the venue was filled with booths featuring artists and merchants selling exclusive Love and Deep Space merchandise, with a strong focus on Sylus-themed items. From prints to keychains and everything in between, fans had plenty to grab as keepsakes from the celebration.
The program included a bunch of fun activities like trivia games and mini contests. Raffle prizes added excitement, giving attendees more chances to go home with exclusive items. As part of the ticket, guests also received themed keepsakes and trinkets as mementos from the event.
The café joined in on the theme as well, serving specially curated food and drinks that matched the mood of the celebration. And as a surprise treat, there was a live performance by Zsar Vi, who sang a special number for the event, adding a musical highlight that captured the crowd's attention.
One of the more unique parts of the event was the fanservice experience, which followed a coin-based system. Guests could avail of different types of interactions with the host performers — from regular fanservice (kabedon, holding hands, spoon-feeding, hand kisses, photo ops) for one coin (₱25), to spicier, more premium fanservice (cheek kisses, lap spoon-feeding, pocky exchanges, TikToks, neck nuzzles) for two coins (₱50). There were also cards available for unlimited fanservice sessions — with regular (₱150) and premium versions (₱175 with a Kohi stamp) to choose from.
All in all, Crimson Devotion was a successful fan-driven event that stayed true to its theme and gave Sylus fans a memorable way to celebrate his in-game birthday. From creative outfits, immersive fanservice, to the community energy shared by attendees — the event was a clear sign of just how loved this dark and charming character really is.
