Outbreak Cebu 2024

 Outbreak Cebu, organized by Play n Connect, took place on May 25, 2024, at From Here: The Playground at The Crossroads in Cebu City. This Nintendo-themed event was made by Nintendo fans for Nintendo fans, creating a vibrant and interactive experience for all attendees.

Outbreak Cebu offered a wide range of attractions, ensuring there was something for every Nintendo enthusiast:

Artists and merch vendors: Talented local and visiting artists displayed their Nintendo-inspired artwork. Attendees could purchase prints, stickers, and other creative items, adding unique pieces to their collections. There was also a variety of Nintendo-themed merchandise. From clothing and accessories to toys and collectibles fans could find exclusive and exciting items

Food Vendors: The event featured food stalls serving Nintendo-themed treats. Attendees enjoyed creatively designed snacks. 

Casual Gaming Corner: This area was equipped with multiple Nintendo Switch consoles, allowing attendees to play a variety of games at their own pace. It was a perfect spot for friends to gather and enjoy multiplayer sessions.

Safari Area: This area was filled with Pokémon plushies, providing a cozy space for guests to relax and lounge, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the event.

Outbreak Cebu featured several engaging activities for fans to participate in:

Pikmin Hunt: Attendees took part in five different challenges scattered throughout the venue. Successfully completing these challenges earned them Pikmin, which could be exchanged for a roll at the gacha machine to win special prizes.

Pokémon VGC Tournament: Pokémon trainers from different backgrounds competed in a structured Video Game Championships tournament. This activity showcased their strategic skills and team-building expertise, drawing in many enthusiastic participants and spectators.

Super Smash Brothers Tournament: Competitive players joined the Super Smash Brothers tournament to battle it out in intense matches. This fast-paced fighting game provided thrilling entertainment, highlighting the players' strategic prowess and quick reflexes.

All in all, Outbreak Cebu was the first Nintendo-themed event in Cebu. It brought together fans for a day filled with fun, creativity, and community. The competitive activities added excitement to the event, making it a memorable experience for all attendees.
