Every year the Manila Bulletin organizes this sketching competition all throughout Cebu, Davao, and Manila for aspiring artists and artists by heart to join in. Be creative! That is what this event is all about. Artists can create their pieces with whatever medium they are into or they prefer to use, just as long as they adhere to the theme of the year.
In this case, the theme for this year's event is "Saving Earth".
A lot of amazing talent shone through throughout the event. Artists with different art styles and approaches in interpreting the theme showed how creative a Cebuano can be. And it's all thanks to the efforts of Manila Bulletin for holding this annual event for everyone to participate in.
Aside from the sketch fest, they also had a singing talent portion wherein kids with amazing voices came up to the stage to perform for the crowd. At the end of the event, they distributed the prizes to the lucky winners of the event.

Truly it has been an amazing experience for these aspiring artists to showcase their talent to the public.

Up next they will be visiting Davao to hold the Sketchfest there on October 1, 2022, in SM City Davao, and finally on October 22, 2022, they will be at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City as their final stop.
So to those who still want to join in the fun and excitement in Davao and Pasay, it's already on its way!
