The Anime, Role-Playing, Comics, and Hobbies Convention (ArchCon) recently held its press conference at The Company Cebu at Mandaue City, Cebu. It is currently one of the best and biggest platforms in Cebu City for people to showcase their passions. ArchCon is the oldest convention of its kind in the city, dating back to July 2004 at The Sacred Heart School - Ateneo De Cebu. Who knew that this convention of geeks in their respective passions starting in the school gym a long time ago would finally be held in at the Oakridge Pavilion! their biggest venue yet!
A convention with a cause. The event is known to raise funds for various charities and outreach activities under the Blue Plate Project. Foundations like Cancervants, DOTA, Deaf-Mute Community, and the Kythe Foundation are all beneficiaries of the various competitions held during the 2 day event.
We have attended most of the of previous incarnations of ArchCon and boy are we excited to what they are up to in this event as from the information they have divulged, this is possibly the biggest one ever.
ArchCon will be held on October 27-28 at the Oakridge Pavillion.
