Such an amazing whole day event! This is Qualfon's statement to the community that a BPO can be so much more. The event was inspired by the use of the word "Ohana" in the Disney movie Lilo and Stitch. Ohana means family (in an extended sense of the term, including blood-related, adoptive or intentional). The concept emphasizes that families are bound together and members must cooperate and remember one another. In a family, no one is left behind.
The event feels like a celebration of life in general, on how family is more than just the people we are related to. Amazing speakers that talk about very interesting topics ranging from Krav Maga to Cosplay were also featured on stage. There were also artwork featured for the silent auction that were made by the employees of the company. You can check out the speakers here.
Gamers were at the edge of their seats for the whole day witnessing an on going DoTA 2 tournament and the audience getting their pictures taken with the amazing cosplayers that were hanging out on the floor and joining in on the cosplay contest. Heartstrings were also pulled during the the Spoken Poetry contest.
The event was capped by various breathtaking performances by Qualfon employees as well as a fashion show that featured PWDs as the models.
