Celebrate Local and Experience The Best of Cebu in One Go at Tinda Locale!

In case you missed it, Tinda Locale Cebu street market reopened this year and is now situated at the Linear Park of Cebu Business Park in between Cebu Holdings Inc. building and City Sports Club right across Cebu City Marriott Hotel.

Curated street markets are popping all over Cebu City lately but what I feel to be Tinda Locale’s edge over the other bazaars are: (1) location, and (2) entertainment.

Fiesta in the barrio homey feeling

I don’t know about you but every time I dine at Tinda Locale, I get that “Fiesta in the barrio homey feeling” and it’s not just the garden / outdoor setting. It’s the crowd---People having casual chats over dinner. The friendly and accommodating tenants. The Tinda Team casually hanging out by the stage (if you need to speak with them, they are easy to spot).

The place gets busy but not too noisy.

Ever since I moved from Liloan to Cebu City, I missed a lot of family events like our annual barangay and town fiestas and my one week stay as a blogger tenant at Tinda Locale reminded me of those days when me and my cousins stuff ourselves with dessert while lounging at my Mommy Babie’s beautiful garden because on regular days the garden is off limits. Those times I sneak out of the house to meetup with friends to go shopping at the night market.

It’s also noteworthy that despite having an outdoor set-up, there is no need to worry about your footwear getting muddy as a huge chunk of the entire venue is paved. There is also ample parking at the back!

Celebrate local talent

During the Tinda Locale grand launch, Bruce Bollozos (managing director of Tinda Locale), said on his opening remarks that Tinda Locale aspires to be a “destination that would allow patrons to experience Cebu in one go” and what better way to experience the Queen City of the South than good food and music!
