How much would it cost to get the 2014 Planner form Starbucks Philippines

I really really really love notebooks. Planners, journals, stationery, you name it. I've been collecting notebooks and decorated pads since I was in high school but some of them are already gone.

Despite that we are now what we call the digital era where paper memo pads and planners are already replaced with mobile apps, bonded paper never goes out of style. There is a certain sense of happiness when one writes in paper.

Believe it or not, there are other people out there who share the same passion for notebooks.
The holidays are fast approaching and it is that time again where coffeeholics line up on their favorite coffee shops to collect stamps or stickers in order to get a limited edition planner. The yearly planner release by Starbucks appears to be the most popular choice here in the Philippines and a lot of people are raging about getting one.

What is so special about these planners? For the non-notebook enthusiasts they may appear as "just another planner". To some, they can be a status symbol because not everyone can afford those over priced lattes.

Speaking of over price, if you want to know how much money you have to shell out in order to get one of these highly coveted planners, check out this infographic from myManila.net

[Source] Wow! You need a whooping amount of at least PHP 2,025 and consume 945 to 1,845 calories just for one planner. We all have our reasons why we want something and there is nothing really wrong with wanting a Starbucks planner. The big question is, will you even use it? As for me, I must admit I also want to get my hand on those coffee planners. As a matter of fact, I've been trying to get one from Starbucks since 2012 but to no avail. My tummy is not really friends with coffee and their drinks are over priced. Redundancy used for emphasis. I still kept my cards from the previous years.

For this year, I will probably attempt to get one but will surely fail again. I decided, I will just collect the cards rather than the planners because planners are too mainstream. LOL
