Look back: Cebu Furs November Meet Ups Bring the Community Closer
The Cebu Fur Society closed the month of November with two fun community gatherings that brought members together in simple and meaningful ways. From a sunny pool party to a relaxed movie screening, both meetups showed how active and welcoming the furry community in Cebu continues to be.
Cebu Fur’s Holiday Pool Party
Held last November 23, 2025, the Holiday Pool Party gave members a chance to unwind and enjoy a light and friendly meetup. Friends, fans, and fellow furries spent the day swimming, chatting, and catching up with each other. The atmosphere was easygoing, with plenty of laughter and shared stories. Many took photos, made new connections and strengthened old ones. It was a simple and refreshing gathering that reminded everyone why these meet-ups matter.
Zootopia 2 Weekend Screening
A week later, on November 29, 2025, members gathered again for a movie screening of Zootopia 2 at SM City Cebu. Some members who owned fursuits came in full character, adding excitement to the day. They walked around the mall before the screening, bringing smiles not only to fellow furries but also to families and moviegoers who shared the space with them. The screening itself felt like a shared celebration, especially for a community that loves the movie’s world and characters.
Both meetups showed how strong the Cebu furry community has become. Whether it is a small pool gathering or a fun movie day, the goal has always been the same. It is to create a space where everyone feels welcome, accepted, and able to enjoy their shared interests.
