Experience Japanese Summer Festival (Bon Odori) in Cebu This August 2016!

Picture yourself all dolled up in a Yukata enjoying your favorite Japanese treats (okonomiyaki, candy apple, and choco banana) or exploring activities such as goldfish / water balloon catching. How about watching a fireworks display while all wrapped up in the arms of the person you hold most dear. Sounds like a scene from a shoujo manga/anime? Here’s your chance to experience a real ‘matsuri’ right here in the Queen City of the South!

The Japanese Association Cebu, Inc. (JAC) in cooperation with the Department of Tourism, the Cebu City Government, and other Filipino-Japanese communities/organizations in Cebu brings us the 3rd Japanese Summer Fiesta: Bon Odori happening this August 12 and 13, 2016 (Friday and Saturday) at the Sugbu Grounds, South Road Properties (SRP).

What’s in store?

• Bon Odori dance
• Sinulog dance
• Authentic Japanese portable shrine
• Enka performance (Japanese Traditional Song)
• Yukata, cosplay and karaoke contests
• Mochi Tsuki (Rice cake pounding)
• Raffles
• Fireworks display
• Food stalls and shops

Gates open: 3:00 PM
Event start: 4:00 PM

Entrance fee: ₱ 20
