Top Three Jobs in Cebu for Fresh Graduates

It’s a highly competitive world out there, graduates. As you leave the portals of your educational institutions, you will find that working for a company is much much more challenging than working for school projects. The good thing is, Cebu presents lots of opportunities for fresh graduates or those with little or no experience. Here are three of them.

Call center jobs - If you think that it’s easy to get in a call center company, you’re wrong. It pays well because it is not an easy job especially with the shifting of schedule. But if you don’t have a problem with that, this could be the perfect work for you. Call centers are everywhere in the city looking for new applicants all-year round, so you might want to prepare your resumes as early as now.

Freelance jobs - Freelance jobs are getting popular nowadays especially for people who wants to take full control of their time. There are a lot of perks of being a freelancer. For one, you don’t have to travel to work. If you’re up to beating tight deadlines, but of course with a higher pay, a freelance job might be the best option for you. Online jobsites like cebujobs.ph can be of help to those who plan to work as freelancers.

Tutorial jobs - There are a lot of emerging companies in Cebu looking for people who can teach English and other foreign languages. These companies pay well especially if you become a regular. If you think that teaching is your cup of tea, being an online tutor might fit you.
On a different note, Cebuano job seekers are encouraged to attend the 69th Mega Job Fair at Cebu City Sports Center from 8 AM to 5 PM on March 28, Saturday.

Organized by Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama with the aid of the Department of Manpower Development and Placement (DMDP), this job fair will have local and international companies and agencies come over to offer thousands of jobs vacancies.

    Interested applicants are to prepare:

    - updated resumes
    - employment certifications (if previously employed)
    - High school diploma (for High school graduates)
    - transcript of records (for college graduates)

Job seekers are also advised to wear something appropriate in applying for a job.

For further inquiries and pre-registration, applicants may visit DMDP Office at the 2nd floor of Ramos Multipurpose Building along F. Ramos Street or contact 253- 9212.
